Ayurveda Day 2026 - Ayurveda for Healthier Tomorrow

https://ayurvedaday.org.in/

September 23 coincides with the autumnal equinox, when day and night are of nearly equal length. This astronomical balance symbolizes nature's equilibrium, reflecting Ayurveda's core philosophy of achieving harmony and balance within the mind, body, and spirit.

Traditionally Ayurveda Day is celebrated on Dhanvantari Jayanti (Dhanteras). But through Gazette Notification issued in March 2025, Govt. of India decided to celebrate Ayurveda Day on 23rd September every year.

Ayurveda and Chronobiology are having many similarities. Ayurvedic concepts may be better explained to modern world through chronobiological terminologies.

We have coined a novel term 'ChronoPrakriti' which is the combination of chronotype and Prakriti type. For more information please check https://chronoprakriti.com/.
